COVID-19 INFORMATION

The health and safety of our guests and volunteers is our utmost priority. With this in mind, we will ensure we take every precaution and responsibility in order to provide a clean environment for the Fleetwood ParaCon. With your help, we can all have a safe and clean Fleetwood Paracon!

WE PLEDGE TO YOU

  • Hand sanitizer will be available and located through-out the ParaCon, both outdoors, near the restroom, and within the Fleetwood Church.

  • Volunteers & Staff will wear masks while within the Fleetwood Church and will utilize appropriate hygiene when sanitizing.

  • Volunteers will maintain appropriate physical distancing while conducting tours and collecting admissions. When possible, we will place reminders to help you maintain that distance.

  • We will clean the restroom through-out the day by utilizing an air spray to sanitize the area.

  • We will clean the interior of the Fleetwood Church before & after each speaker, and at the beginning and end of the event. Highly touched surfaces will be identified and thoroughly cleaned.

  • Each volunteer will be required to pass a wellness check the morning of the ParaCon. Anyone that is sick or exhibiting sickness will not be allowed to participate in the events of the day.

  • Groups will be limited for battlefield tours and the investigations to maintain safe physical distancing in interior spaces.

  • The amount of individuals allowed inside of the Fleetwood Church will be limited to ensure safe physical distancing at all times.

  • Proper signage will be placed, reminding everyone of the requirement to wear a facial mask while inside of the Fleetwood Church.

  • Our guidelines do not supersede any directives issued by government entities, and will be continuously evaluated and updated as further guidance is provided from the CDC, the Virginia Department of Health, and other agencies.

YOU PLEDGE TO US

  • You will practice the Virginia mandated physical distance guidelines that have been put into place to protect not only you, but also our volunteers and other guests. This includes maintaining a 6-foot distance when possible.

  • Wearing masks will be required for interior access to the church, and are recommended outdoors when in close proximity to other guests and volunteers.

  • Register for admission to the ParaCon in advance, and use "no touch" payment options when and if available.

  • Any food or beverage you bring with you will not be allowed into the Fleetwood Church. Furthermore, all trash must be disposed of properly to protect others from possible exposure.

  • All guests will be temperature-checked upon arrival to ensure they do not have a fever. If a guest does have a fever, or exhibit symptoms of being sick, they will be unable to participate in the ParaCon. A refund will be provided.

  • If you have been exposed to COVID-19 within 2 weeks of the ParaCon, feel sick, or have a fever, please stay home. A refund will be provided.
